Hi Drew,
If you do not have any items which you wish to exclude then simply
remove any entries from the excludes.txt file within your backup
configuration directory.
Because you are running LBackup using the example_backup_config
template and this is not working. I suggest that you re-install
LBackup and try following the basic backup configuration instructions
listed below.
Visit the following URL :
http://connect.homeunix.com/lbackup/configuring_a_basic_backup
After completing the section called "Copy the template configuration"
edit the file /lbackup/basic_backup_test/excludes.txt with your
favorite text editor and remove all the entries from this file.
Then carry on with the instructions on this page and you should have a
basic backup configured.
If you know that you have just deleted the excludes.txt file then
simple generate a blank file with that with the name excludes.txt
within the backup configuration directory and that should fix the
problem.
You can also see some basic backup setups if you visit the screen
casts page : http://www.lucidsystems.org/tools/lbackup/screencasts/
Should you require any more help with getting you backup running
please let me know. I will try to help you out with getting LBackup up
and running.
