One other possibility, have you attempted to set the keychain to lock  
on sleep? It may be possible to even add the passwords into a separate  
keychain which locks on sleep? Maybe you have already tried this  
approach?

Maybe this is not quite as secure as you need. Just thought it was  
worth mentioning.
